Job description
To lead and oversee the day to day operations of the branch office including operational and financial management, human resources, customer relationships and revenue generation..
Your tasks and responsibilities
- To ensure the overall profitability of the branch through effective financial and operational management.
- To provide a meaningful review of business and financial performance in relation to significant variances between budget and/or prior year as required.
- To ensure that all aspects of branch operations are managed efficiently and effectively.
- To continuously assess and seek to improve operational processes and procedures.
- To set the direction of the sales and revenue strategy ensuring that it is aligned to the company’s overall strategy.
- To expand the scope of sales activities within the branch in conjunction local sales team.
- To develop and implement strategies and tactics to maintain and develop the overall performance of your team.
- To actively promote, lead, coach and develop direct reports and the wider branch team to deliver their best performance.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Business Administration or Logistics is preferred
- 5~10 years working experience acting as a smilar role for general management in freight fowarding industry or logistics background
- Knowlege in Air Logistics, Contract Logistics or Sea Logistics
- Financial Analysis and Management Skills
- This role need to be focused on getting the best from their teams by pro-active leadership, recognition of performance and timely resolution of performance issues. They need to be time sensitive and able to multi task. They need to demonstrate a customer focus mindset in everything that they do on a daily basis. They have to manage and interpret financial and other business related data in order to provide meaningful advice and feedback on their area of responsibility.
