？ Manage annual cost reductions through supplier negotiation and resourcing
？ Follow-up of price requests or projects from customers
？ Initiate and follow-up requests for quotations (RFQ’)
？ Update price and order database
？ Manage suppliers, including supplier reduction. Assist in building effective (long term- partnerships) and make regular site visits (with emphasis on sustainable relationships)
？ Project management with internal and external customers
？ Coordinate between other departments
？ Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status
？ Apply and safeguard the Facil values in daily operations
？ Escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to your direct manager and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the changing and challenging environment
？ Perform other job related duties assigned by your manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education Master or minimum bachelor degree or equal by experience
Professional experience 1-2 years of purchase experience preferably in the automotive sector
Product knowledge Technical interest is required, mechanical or material knowledge is a plus
Process knowledge Knowledge of relevant quality standards. Act according to the relevant quality standards and the company management system (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and others where applicable)
Language skills Company language is English
Knowledge of other languages is a plus
Computer skills Knowledge of Microsoft office package
Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus
Analytical skills Strong analytical and organizational skills
Other skills Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Customer focus (internal and external)
Good prioritizing skills
