Job description:
1. Work closely with US designers and vendors to ensure seasonal new product development to achieve the goals.
2. Coordinate with production/ quality assurance department for specific issues
3. Arrange sample submission to customers for approval
4. Handle merchandising related documents in the system
5. Draft sample instruction, check sample yarn and dimension
6. Negotiate price & timeline; prepare cost sheet and T&A
7. Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness
8. Communicate and prepare meeting with suppliers/buyers for USA customers
9. Accompany the sourcing business trip with designers or customers
10.Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy
11.Ensure that shipping and sampling shelves are stocked at all times
12.Distribute completed sample requests to the appropriate managers
13.Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  
Requirement:
1.Extensive experience minimum 5 + years in merchandising or sourcing for home textiles in trading company or buying office;
2.Strong communication skills
3.Could work independently and provide efficient solutions
4.Fluent in English (oral and written)
5.Good PC skills
6.Gradation from university (textile major is a big plus)
