岗位职责

Key Elements

· Be a resource to GM engineers needing to do root cause analysis on defined software anomalies

· Communicate and ensure the correct supplier component is meeting MRD (Material Required Date)

· Complete special assignments as required

· Determine values and populate calibration parts in CAL-DS for assigned calibrations

· Develop, maintain and communicate a software plan which includes software content and timing

· Insure all aspects of production processes for software and calibration programming are validated

· Maintain a file of schematics and specifications to assist in expeditious resolution of all issues

· Package parts

· Participate in PDT and engineering conference with global team

· Perform vehicle sign-offs and interface with build facility as required

· Prepare and present responses to action items

· Procure the appropriate software resources to meet all delivery dates

· Provide the ability to do quick calibration fixes on site in order to expedite / confirm the resolution to key issues

· Recommend solutions to issues where appropriate, troubleshoot and resolve assigned parts’ issues, daily summary and report for urgent issue

· Release parts and maintain the change history and rationality

· Represent PATAC’s position when communicating with their company

· Review verification plans for assigned component technical specification sections

· Support assembly plant build events and ride trips

· Assist troubleshoot vehicle level issues to determine root cause

· Understand controller delivery requirements and ensure that supplied controllers meet requirements

· Understand GM software delivery requirements and priorities

· Update vehicles with latest production intent components

· Write Vehicle Incident non-conformance reports when issues are found

· Can work overtime

· Attend training and learning provided by PATAC when required

· Maintain projects status, report to PATAC lead engineer when required

· Perform quality check of assigned parts’ work output especially calibration qualities from other release regions for vehicles built in SGM

Qualifications

Required

· Electrical Engineering or Computer Science background with a bachelor degree minor.

· Minimum of 3 year experience in a test, development, analysis or design organization, Automobile Electronics especially Body Electronics is preferred

· Good written and oral communication skills in Chinese and in English – must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical information

· Good interpersonal skills – must work well on a team

· Good organizational skills – must be able to manage several simultaneous projects efficiently

· Willingness and ambition to work under pressure, meet schedules and maintain a high level of output

· Proficiency in the use of PC’s and MS Offices’

· Proficiency in the use of electronic instrumentation utilized in component level verification

· Proficiency in the use of bus diagnostic tools
