Summary of Role Scope:
Production Fabric Merchandiser is responsible for all production fabric delivery and quality.
 
- Follow up fabric WIP from booking to color approval, bulk approval and bulk delivery.
- Monitor fabric quality and call out to work with supervisor/merchandiser with solutions,
- Communicate & solve the problem on quality & color.

Key Accountabilities:
Mill base management
- Monitor fabric orders to call out if any potential issue include quality and delivery
- Problem solving and suggestion offering to fabric quality issue in production to help the garment delivery
- Monitor fabric liability and payment issues
- Coach mill on company’s fabric testing requirement, quality manual, and production leadtime etc.

Follow up and day-to-day business
- Work with NY/Merchandiser on lab dip approval, color standard confirmation and delivery control
- Follow up bulk fabric on delivery.
- Work closely with merchandisers and suppliers to get all colors approval
- Update BC about delivery date/shipping date/etc

Person Specification:
Essential
- Minimum 3 years Fabric Production follow up experience in a commercial (trading or retail sourcing office) apparel environment
- Proven knowledge and experience of China for fashion ladies wear
- Excellent English both written and oral
