Corporate Counsel , CDR (Contracting Drafting and Review)

Enable solutions that balance the commercial with the legal
You will join Corporate Legal Affairs (CLA), where you will provide essential support to the Legal Business Partners located in China and other team members of CLA. You will also have a role supporting the Knowledge Management function in CLA with contract templates and guidelines. In particular, you will:

-Draft, review and negotiate legal contracts, documents and letters etc. for the entire LEGO ® Group
-Work with both standard contracts for the LEGO ® Group as well as vendor and customer contracts
-Provide follow up advice, training and consultation to colleagues regarding contracts
-Maintain, update and develop standard contract templates and guidelines

Your force is drafting and negotiating legal contracts and documents
You will be challenged on your ability to align business partners' needs and CLA’s standards, while building a network across the LEGO ® Group. This requires a highly collaborative mind-set, as well as a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to supporting the team and helping further build the skills in the department. Working in this support position, you must enjoy and see it as your mission to provide high quality service. To be successful in this position, you:

?Must have a law school degree, and at least 5 years of experience working with international contracts - preferably within a broad range of legal areas including Procurement, IT and Marketing contracts (master degree concluded or master degree in progress will be seen as an advantage).
?Knowledge of compliance issues such as personal data and competition would be a bonus
?Experience working in a global context .Have solid knowledge of and experience with drafting legal documents, which has given you the skills to draft well-written, clear and logical legal documents
?Have knowledge of Chinese law and speak both mandarins and English on a fluent level.
?Chinese Bar certification preferred
?Are able to work with, understand and transform standards into operational knowledge
?Are ready to roll up your sleeves to support the team and further build the skills in the legal department
?Report all kinds of incidents taking place in China immediately to relevant authorities.
?Follow established guidelines according to Safety Policies applicable within the LEGO Group.
