Software Engineer (Application fields: map data compiler development)

As software engineer for map compilation you would work along our tool chain to compile raw map data in several intermediate steps into an optimized navigation map data using our EB map data compiler. You would work with map updates up to 4 times per year and for markets in the whole world. Every new map data brings challenges with it to maintain and extend our map compiler. Take the opportunity to start in the beginning of a growing team.

Main responsibilities:

? Software design, development, implementation, integration, test and re-designed according to customer requirements.
? The development of server-based software, the main application field of navigation map data compilation and application development.
? The entire process involved in software development
? Customer software throughout the system integration, operation and testing.
? To provide customers with technical support, training and consulting.
? Undertake and manage a small project or a part of some items or a complete package.
? In the progress of the project and implementation of internal and customer scheduling and communication.
? Explore and open up new customers (OEMs and automotive electronics system supplier), support and help to make the technical solutions and pricing to sales techniques.

Requirements:

? Bachelor degree or above
? Excellent communication and language skills
? Very good English skills (L6 or more)
? Good C + + programming language knowledge
? Experience with databases preferable but not required
? Technical background and more than three years work experience
? Ability to work independently, strong sense of responsibility, initiative and flexible
? Have a strong self-management skills
? Related applications engineering experience is preferred, such as familiar with the computer graphics/geometric modeling, navigation map data compilation and application development or vehicle information entertainment system.
