Production Project Coordinator
Position Overview
Production project Coordinator (PPC) is responsible for the daily communication and coordination between PMI and related factory vendors on the projects. As the window of communication between PMI and the related factory, on one hand, PPC need to accurately and effectively follow up orders, samples, invoices and other related work. On the other hand, PPC need to assist, supervise and update factory project development progress. Timely solve the problems of the factory production, supporting the work of FLM, help factory reach PMI requirements for production.
Responsibilities
1. Communication with vendors
a) Communication between PMI and vendors
b) Daily coordination between vendor factory staff and PMI function team to ensure effective implementation of projects and orders.
c) Weekly meeting with factory (VC), to ensure that PMI project is on schedule. And correction solution can be applied in the overdue project.
d) Management of the production plan, ensure programs and orders are conducted on time as per PMI production quality standard.
e) Preservation of communication record, mail response within 24 hours and raise solutions.
2. Production management
a) Follow the orders within production lead time, create orders correctly in EBS, accurately and timely release the production information to vendor factory. Follow up the implementation of orders, ensure on time order delivery in accordance with PMI quality standards.
b) Vendor factory invoice check, sample list track.
c) Preparation of weekly report and monthly report
d) Response to mail inquiries within 24 hours, and raise solution promptly to emergency events.
e) Know well about the vendor production condition, effective communication with the factory.
f) File management (paper file and e - copy)
3. Project management
a) Assist FLM to follow up the progress of project, and related work. Timely update the system data, report to FLM. Attend weekly project review meeting with factory.
b) Assist FLM to monitor the first shipment of new project. Create the orders in system (EBS), prepare documents and follow up the execution of the order to ensure that goods can be shipped out as per PMI quality standards.
c) File management. (paper management and e - copy)
Additional responsibilities
1. The implementation of the existing processes, and raise constructive opinion.
2. Participation in the discussion between function groups.
Proficiencies
1. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
2. Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
3. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effect. Reflect a professional image in writing, face to face or by telephone for information exchanges.
5. Solid word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
6. Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
8. Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
9. Ability to study and apply new information.
10. Reflect professional temperament and commercial appeal in any time.
11. Willing work under pressure and able to travel on request.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Foreign Trade, or equivalent related experience.
2. Above Two (2) years of relevant experience.
