We are looking for Technician for Woven Team.

Technician

In the H&M Production organization we transform design ideas into actual products. We ensure that we produce safe products for our customers and remain in the forefront of sustainability.

As a Technician, your main focus will be to ensure the styling, workmanship & fit of all samples, find solutions to problems regarding bulk orders as well as upgrade suppliers’ knowledge to secure production quality.


What will you do?

In this role, you will be kept busy and engaged through a wide range of tasks. Primarily you will need to:

Conduct a risk assessment of all samples at the initial stage
Check the workmanship, measurements & fitting & identify problems or potential problems on offer samples/style samples
Strengthen the cooperation with the Merchandiser, QC teams and R&D in order to secure the best products for bulk production
Strengthen the cooperation with the QC team and Merchandising team in order to secure the best products for bulk production
Create a good dialogue with buyers, assistants and patternmakers in the Buying Office & GPO

In this role you will join a dynamic and energetic team based in Shanghai. You will interact regularly with Quality, Merchandiser, Product Development & R&D, our external suppliers as well as your colleagues based both locally and across the Globe.

Bachelor degree, major in textile/ready wear education
Preferably patternmaker, pattern education Free hand program
Preferably experience in a sample room (manual/soft wear pattern knowledge, consumption & good making knowledge)
