Role overview
The successful candidate of this position will serve as a Sr. Technical Operation Manager in Commerce Platform team who is responsible for design and implementation of subscription management system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity planning of production system and procurement of resources thru cloud tools
- Infrastructure and topology design, hardware, networking, OS selection based on requirement.
- Lead and contribute in the DevOps team to maintain and build out our infrastructure and servers currently operating on AWS and internal cloud.
- Evolve infrastructure, server, deployment strategies and testing to support our goal of 100% up-time and quick turnaround of deployments for the engineering organization.
- Continuously improve our infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant.
- Work closely with our Architects, Engineers, Product Managers and other clients and partners of the DevOps team to meet the needs of the organization to stay competitive - from the infrastructure up to the highest level of applications.
- Take on the same responsibilities of a DevOps engineer such as being on-call, writing deployment scripts, debugging applications, evaluating new technologies and more.
- Establish process of production monitoring, production change management, production escalation process
- Ensure production management process is followed and audit.
- Help drive effortrs on PCI compliance, SOX audit of production system.
- Work with DEV/TEST/PM on operability review, deployment review during design
- Coordinate with DEV/TEST/PM on release schedule, deployment schedule
- Responsible in establishing production quality metrics and score card and conduct periodic livesite review with management
- Manage a team of DevOPs and support engineers to provide 24x7 support, uptime and monitoring.
- Hire DevOPs and Software engineers
- Set specific and measurable commitment for team members, assess performance against performance and provide timely feedback
- Manage budget, resource responsibly based on business priority and ROI

Qualifications:
- Strong experience in managing, deploying, operating Java applications on Linux/Unix systems with a high traffic site in the cloud.
- Have designed, monitored and managed scalable and fault-tolerant deployments and supported them in real-world scenarios
- Have experience with continuous integration, log collection and analysis, builds and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure.
- Experience in troubleshooting java applications, web servers, databases, networking and systems related issues.
- Comfortable writing scripts in bash/python.
- Experience with Puppet or Chef, Docker, Ansible.
- Experience with network and server security.
- Ability to quickly learn complexity system and new technologies
- Strong Analytical Problem Solving Skill
- Passion about customer, partner and quality
- Strong knowledge about computer hardware, networking, security, database, storage etc.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and hire hires into high performing stars.
- Rich experience in running large scale online transaction system, and responsible for production change management, monitoring
- Experience in working with distributed teams.
- Have lead an Ops/DevOps team before
- 12+ years of technical operation experience
- Great communication skill
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related major 举报 分享
