Senior Sales Engineer (APAC)
Status: Full Time, Employee
Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years
Career Level: Experienced
Education: 4 year degree required
Travel Requirements: Up to 30% in region and some international
Location: Shanghai, China

Role
Azul Systems seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Engineer responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle.
? Must have strong working knowledge of Linux and Java!
? Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
? Travel within China, across APAC region and to US
? Highly competitive salary plus sales-based commission.
Responsibilities
? Support sales team by providing product, architecture and requirements analysis expertise
? Communicate technical value proposition for company products
? Foster and maintain customer relationships
? Communicate product issues and challenges to Engineering team
? Analyze business and technical needs
? Lead pilots
? Write technical responses
Skills Required
? 5+ years' experience with pre-sales engagements and/or customer technical management
? Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, advanced degree preferred
? 10+ years technical industry
? Experience architecting, designing, developing, integrating and deploying distributed systems
? Java programming experience desirable
? JVM internals knowledge desirable
? Java Embedded knowledge/experience preferred
? Fluency in Linux
? Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
? Communicates effectively at different levels
? Analytical problem solver with ability to work on own initiative.
