职位描述：
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of Operations and/or Instrumentation and Control training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and in accordance with Westinghouse, World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and industry standards.
Personnel in this position will be expected to work towards qualifying as a classroom instructor, Instructional Material Developer, Simulator Booth Operator, Simulator Floor Instructor, Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Classroom Instructor, and SRO Simulator Instructor. Completion of these qualifications results in awarding of AP1000 SRO Instructor Certification. Additionally, if assigned, Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Certified Classroom Instructor and I&C Certified Laboratory Instructor.

Essential Functions / Supporting Responsibilities：
1.Obtain assigned AP1000 SRO Instructor Qualifications (approximately 18 months).
Attend AP1000 training classes.
Self Study AP1000 materials.
Successfully pass AP1000 systems and procedures examinations.
Successfully pass AP1000 operational simulator examinations.
Qualify as Classroom Instructor
Qualify as AP1000® Instructional Material Developer
Qualify as AP1000® SRO Classroom Instructor
Qualify as AP1000® Simulator Floor Instructor
Qualify as AP1000® SRO Simulator Instructor
Obtain AP1000® SRO Instructor Certification
Maintain AP1000® SRO Instructor Certification by attending requalification training and successfully passing biannual written and annual operational examinations

2.Design, develop, modify and review lesson plans to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Gather pertinent information necessary for the development/revision of new and existing AP1000 Operations and/or I&C training materials.
Develop various styles of written test items, which meet current nuclear industry standards, to evaluate trainee understanding of presented training material.
Develop Skill Test Items, meeting current nuclear industry standards, to evaluate trainee proficiency of the training presented
Develop PowerPoint lesson plans and student handouts.
Incorporate creative learning techniques and industry best practices into training material to ensure it promotes trainee involvement (such as role-play, case study, and instructional games).
Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high quality training.
Maintain training materials in the VISION Learning Management System.

3.Perform Instructional Duties (under the supervision of a qualified instructor until qualified to perform the task independently)。
Prepare to teach.
Teach in the classroom.
Administer examinations.
Sequester students.
Coordinate production of training materials.

4.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
Examples would be to attend meetings, support other organizations with operational experience, and support Westinghouse teams that require advice from those with nuclear operating experience.

Education/Experience/KSAs/Certifications/Languages：
Bachelor Degree in Physical Sciences or Engineering
3 years Navy Nuclear, or
3 years NRC Licensed PWR or BWR Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO), or
3 years Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Engineer

Working Knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training to carry out assignments associated with the analysis, design, and development of training materials.
Knowledge of how to write test questions that meet industry standards.
Working knowledge of how to search the NRC and INPO web pages for information to include in training material.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Demonstrate good organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills and have strong presenter/facilitator skills
Exhibit professional work ethic.
Working knowledge of the associated AP1000 Training procedures, INPO documents and NRC regulations.
Working knowledge of AP1000 systems.
Working knowledge of AP1000 plant integrated operations.
Working knowledge of AP1000 procedures, procedure background documents, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, logics, Technical Specifications, Conduct of Operations Manual, etc.
Working knowledge of EDMS
Working knowledge of VISION Learning Management System.

Certifications：Navy Nuclear Operator OR
NRC Licensed RO or SRO OR
Bachelors in Physical Science/Engineering with some commercial or civilian nuclear experience OR
Instrumentation and Control Technician with at least 1 year of power plant experience OR
Instrumentation and Control Technician with Navy nuclear experience

Senior Reactor Operator Instructor Certification, or
Navy Nuclear Instructor qualification, or.
