Job Description

Lead product and process transfer activities to the new Shanghai plant

German contact window for the Shanghai site process engineering team

Planning projects in Redwitz to support the needs of Shanghai continuous improvement work

Support scale-up and pre-production qualification activities at the Shanghai site

Support implementation of process and raw material changes as well as new processes in China

Qualify new raw materials for Shanghai in cooperation with the Shanghai process engineering team

Support development, scale-up and qualification of new products for China

Close cooperation with Technical Manager in China for new product design to fit for China market

Qualification

• Qualified engineer (e.g. chemical engineering, chemistry, ceramic engineering, process engineering, material science or comparable) with experience of ceramic processes
• Knowledge of automotive quality systems, project work experience and material processing
• Pragmatic and analytic thinking with systematic, self-guided and co-operative working style
• Good language skills in German, English and Chinese
• Profound software skills in MS Office, MS Project, Minitab are helpful
• High willingness to travel (ca. 30%) between Germany and China
• High team orientation with intercultural skills and willingness to work in an international environment
• Additional professional experience in the area of catalysis is helpful
