Functional Department - Overview and Objective:

The main function of this role is to provide end-to-end IT application support for CDF business, including EDI, Business Object, legacy transaction systems, and all related IT applications used by CDF business. The role is desired to hold strong team-work spirit and is intended to ensure a high quality level of application support to external customers and cross functional teams in an extremely diverse business environment in a fast growing financial market
 
Key Responsibilities:

?Actively participate in EDI project, coordinate with customers on EDI testing and test result verification. Be the local expert in EDI.
?Support customer as well as cross functional team on Business Object report requirements
?Effectively work with business teams to gather requirements for automation or application enhancement. Document technical specifications and effectively communicate the requirement and design to development team
?Provide first level of support to local business of diverse application systems including legacy system. Troubleshoot system issues, identify root cause, action plans, and impact and resolution options
?Responsible for IT management process including incident and change requests tracking, metrics reporting and proper tool and process for improvement
?Responsible for system release test as well as UAT for major projects
?Perform all other duties as assigned. Flexible working and weekend support coverage as and when required

Skills and Certifications Required Experience:

?At least 4 years’ experience in MNC financial institution
?Experience with Business Object and EDI
?Experience with first level of application support
?Experience with databases and legacy system a plus
?Must have knowledge and understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
?Experience with General Ledger a plus
 
Required skills:

?Proficient with BO and strong knowledge of EDI and databases
?Quick learner.
?Strong analytical skills
?Strong communication skill and ability to work well with customers and cross functional teams
?Strong customer-centricity; Strong follow-up and multi-tasking skills
?Ability to apply technology to solve business problems
