Responsibilities
Demonstration delivery
? Deliver demonstration content articulating the business benefits of Cisco’s solutions to Cisco customers attending Cisco’s Customer experience Centers both in-person and virtually.
? Be capable of delivering all demonstration content available within your assigned Experience Center.
? Be able to participate in strategic conversations for demonstrations within your assigned architecture.
? Adequately prepare for Customer briefings. Attend pre-briefing calls, work directly with account teams and local SMEs, in order to:
o Understand each customer’s requirements as well proposed Cisco solutions and account team objectives.
o Customize demonstration delivery in order to preset each demonstration in the context of a customer’s situation and account team objectives.
o Schedule additional follow-up calls if necessary in order to understand an account team’s objectives.
Architectural alignment
? Be a team lead for one of the architectural teams who in conjunction with the architecture team will be responsible for owning building and owning relationships with key stakeholders, such as sales team, marketing and business units.
? Be a point of contact within the presenter team for one primary Cisco architectures, such as Collaboration, Mobility, Data Center, Enterprise network, Security, and Internet Of Things/Cross architecture.
? For your assigned architecture; understand available solutions, best practice deployments within industry vertical. Keep abreast of the competitive landscape through maintaining an understanding of competitive offerings and Cisco’s competitive differentiators.
? Maintain a high level of understanding of all Cisco architectures and Experience Center demonstration offerings.
Demonstration development and maintenance
? Work in conjunction with the Architecture team to develop new demonstration content. Assume presenter aligned functions, as outlined in the demonstration lifecycle process.
? Scoping – Actively participate in a focus group to determine the scope and high level design of new demonstration content. Ensure that all demonstration content includes scenarios that articulate all key marketing messages.
? Documentation - Ensure that key documentation (Demonstration script outline, Messaging presentation) is produced for all demonstration content. Ensure that documentation is to the level that enables any presenter to deliver a demonstration.
? Pilot Testing – Lead the pilot testing of new demonstrations; utilize focus group feedback in order to optimize demonstration content for delivery to customers.
? Training – Lead TOI sessions to presenter team in how to deliver new demonstration content for your assigned architecture. Lead TOI’s to the PM team to enable them to recommend new demonstrations content to account teams.
? Launches – Actively participate in demonstration launch events, ensuring that all key field stakeholders become aware of the key messages of new and existing demonstration content within your architecture.
? Find new innovative ways to showcase Cisco technologies.
? Be familiar with demonstration content and deployments at your site to be able to perform intermediate level troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, such as system upgrades, under the direction of the architecture team.
Sales enablement
? Build relationships with key field stakeholders within your immediate region. Solicit feedback relating to existing demonstration content and requirements for new demonstration content and feed back to the architecture team.
? Be an advocate for the experience center program and your center. Participate in marketing activities (such as open houses and account team meetings) that promotes your center’s capabilities to the field.
Skills
? Be a dynamic, engaging presenter who is consultative in nature prior to the engagement.
? Excellent presentation skills
? Good English speaking, reading and writing skills.
? Outstanding interpersonal skills & excels at building relationships
? Have a basic level understanding of IP networking and Cisco foundation routing, switching and security solutions and concepts.
? Have a working knowledge of the following disciplines: Windows and Mac desktops, Linus/Unix, VMWare and/or Microsoft server technologies
? Be a team player with good working habits.
Education
? Bachelor´s degree or higher, minimum 5 years of progressively responsible, direct applicable experience.
