Project Manager/Engagement Manager - Digital Business Transformation
Cisco Systems (Greater China)

This role is to drive Cisco business strategic growth by focusing on strategic mega deals and pursuing digital transformation solutions in a specific market like Smart City, Cloud, Services, etc. This is a customer facing business development and project management role aimed at identifying business opportunities at mid-long term time frame, through leading & engaging key stake holders to interpret & advise customer business needs into IT solutions, with focus on Services. This person has a long term view of the managing services opportunity and as a delivery team member also a focus on ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
? Responsible for the support and delivery of Digital Transformation solution to our major accounts;
? Performs project management, architectural design and integration for complex solution;
? Assists customer with strategic direction, technology selection, implementation and rollout of ICT solution;
? Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global adoption;
? Work as virtual team member to provides backup support on other services
engagements;
? Leverage and generate applicable technical/project management “best practices”
white papers within virtual team;
? Provide training and mentorship to other Project managers as well as real-time
escalation response for support issues;
? Lead technical design/architecture reviews with responsibility for managing regional
services projects.
Related Business/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:
? Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management with PMI-PMP certification preferred with MSP and/or ITIL certification desirable;
? Track record of successful managing large scale services projects;
? Clearly understand the solution selling approach and must be comfortable to work in
a matrix environment;
? Demonstrated track record of building businesses in China markets;
? Is result-orientated but is collaborative in management style;
? Excellent communication and presentation skills;
? Familiarity with technology products and solutions will be an advantage;
? Language: Chinese Putonghua is a must, English and Cantonese will be an
advantage.
? Educational Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a technology or business field
required and MBA preferred;
? Primary work location in Guangzhou/Guangdong preferred.


Business Development Manager/Customer Solution Manager
Digital Business Transformation

This role is to drive Cisco business growth by focusing on strategic mega deals and pursuing transformational solutions in specific markets in China. This is a customer facing business development, solution positioning and engagement management role aimed at identifying business opportunities for Digital Business Transformation, through leading and engaging key stakeholders to interpret and advise customer’s transformation from business needs into technology projects, with predominate focus on innovative solutions relevant to local markets in China. This person has a long-term view of building solution practices and managing services opportunity to ensure business attainment and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
? Responsible for business development, solution positioning and engagement management to support China’ digital transformation initiatives;
? Assists customers with strategic direction, master planning, technology selection, implementation and rollout of digital solution;
? Generate and lead applicable business opportunities for strategic solution offering, e.g. Services, Cloud, Software, Security, etc with support from global/virtual team;
? Identify and leverage innovative solutions and best practices for global adoption and/or localization/customization;
? Provide training, mentorship and presales support to local Sales as well as real-time escalation response for solution product issues;
? Work as virtual team member to provides backup support on other services engagements;
? Lead local solution engagements with responsibility for managing regional complex projects.
Related Business/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:
? Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution sales and/or business development desirable;
? Clearly understand the solution selling approach with demonstrable track record of successfully building businesses and selling large scale solution and/or services projects in China markets;
? Familiarity with technology products and innovative solutions will be an advantage;
? Is result-orientated but collaborative in management style and must be comfortable
to work in a matrix environment;
? Fluent in verbal and written English and Simplified Chinese desirable with excellent
communication and presentation skills;
? Educational Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a technology or business field
required and MBA desirable;
? Primary work location in Guangzhou/Guangdong preferred.
