Fastems is an independent supplier of flexible manufacturing systems and robotics-based automation to the metal cutting industries for automating the manufacturing and finishing processes. Whether our customers want to automate a single machine tool, multiple machines or an entire factory, we will design a solution that suits their needs precisely. There are 380 of us and we believe in unique company culture.
We are now searching for Service Engineer for our Shanghai office in China.
As a Service Engineer you are responsible for industrial automation solutions´ preventive maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting. Your responsibilities also include on-site customer support, training and spare part sale. Assignments require significant amount of travelling in China and also abroad.
You will be working in an international project environment co-operating with other members of different Fastems Departments and our project partners, such as machine tool manufacturers and our customers.
 To be successful in this position you have:
? Relevant technical education e.g. in the field of automation or electrics
? Basic knowledge of ICT: networks and PC-based systems
? Flexibility to travel
? Experience with working CNC-machines or automation technology is a great benefit, as well as previous knowledge about Flexible Manufacturing Systems or Robotics
? Good communication skills, fluent spoken and written English

To be the right person for this position, you should have a “Can-do” attitude and systematic working style. You are able to work both independently as well as part of the team.
