POSITION: TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

LOCATION: SHANGHAI

Transportation Supervisor monitors the effectiveness of transportation of goods within China. Select sub-contractors, assess service provider performance and design corrective action plan to ensure consistent peak performance service deliveries.

Key duties:

? Develop and update standard operation procedures for freight management.

? Coordinate the trucking company delivery program according to the request of customers.

? Under the supervision of Site Manager, responsible for vehicle vendor selection and procurement.

? Communicate with trucking company to ensure truck arrival to assigned destination on time.

? Arrange delivery schedule, follow up goods delivery status and record, and collect proof of delivery after each delivery.

? Evaluate service performance, provide KPI reports for each selected carrier and reach the company's targets so as to ensure a consistent service level.

? Monitor the cost of each selected carrier and constantly benchmark.

? Send the most updated transport information to relevant parties.

Requirements

? Minimum required: Bachelor's degree

? Candidates should have at least 3 years work experience in the transportation, domestic distribution or logistics fields.

? Familiar with domestic transportation market

? Good communication skills

? Fairly good knowledge of Excel (analysis, charts...)

? Initiative and ethical value
