TYPE OF PROFILE: native Chinese, speaking perfect English, few years of textile experience

MISSION: Under the management of the 2 Presidents/1 GM, you will be in charge of our purchasing activities (sourcing, supplier’s management, orders follow-up, logistical aspects). More specifically, you will be in charge of the following areas of responsibility:

1)Sourcing + Negotiation: goal: to get the best quality value according to client request

.Products : putting within a standardized product sheet the client elements

.Supplier’s Sourcing strategy: orientate to the proper factory according to the request

.Supplier’s quotation analysis

.Negotiate prices and facilities (leadtimes, terms of payment) with suppliers

.Make recommendations of the best value for money

2)Order/Production follow-up: goal: to deliver the proper product on time

.Establish complete Order retroplanning (sampling/production/shipping)

.Sampling management : checking retroplanning of lapdips/swatchs/Fitting Sample/PPS: checking elements and push suppliers to check all is on time

.Asking to suppliers for clear and feasible production schedule

.Check the production schedule at each stage to see the current situation

.Quality Inspection’s planning and booking: factory visits and booking of 3rd party QC: make some short reports and bring corrective actions if need be. Some checks of the implementations of these corrective actions should be undertaken

3)Transportation:

.Shipment’s planning and booking with our appointed forwarders: calculating the volume/weight of the orders (packing details) allocating proper type of containers.

.Managing and handling the customs documents (CI, PL, BL)

4)Administrative aspects:

.Handling of administrative paper work such as P/O and shipping set of documents

.Booking express and preparing parcels, cartelines, cutting…

.Divers organizational/operating tasks
