Responsibilities

The Event Planner should be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Develop business for the agency through driving new client opportunities and maintaining close relationships with existing clients.
2. Work closely with the agency’s design, production and show teams to build presentations and budgets for clients’ events, pitching them to clients and closing the sale.
3. Stay on top of the latest trends within the event industry, driving creativity and offering clients cutting edge solutions that differentiate the agency.
4. Oversee the production and onsite delivery of events and ensure it is inline with the agreed-upon expectations.
5. Hire and manage Assistant Event Planner and interns to deliver all tasks needed for a successful client event.
6. Achieve annual sales targets set by Area Manager. 

Qualifications & abilities

1. Bachelor degree required. 
2. Fluent in English and Chinese required (spoken and written). 
3. At least two years working in an international Event/PR/Advertising agency or a hospitality group is required. 
4. Passion for events, creating unique experiences and an interest in luxury/branding/lifestyle trends.
5. Strong PowerPoint skills (proficiency in design software is a plus).
6. Strong written English for presentations.
7. Attention to detail
8. Experience in building event budgets.
9. Ability to work in a team with clear communication.
10. Responsible, can be held accountable for tasks.
