Position: Quality Control Engineer

Employer: Shanghai International Milestone

Reposting lines: Direct report to Quality Manager

Sector/Industry: Sanitary Ware Industry (Faucets and Ceramics)

Location: Shanghai, Qingpu

Company Introduction:

Shanghai International Milestone is a wholly foreign owned company established in 2011 in Qingpu Export Processing Zone. The company is mainly focused on manufacturing, sourcing, logistics and international trading with North American & Latin American markets in sanitary ware sector.

The company is in strategic alliance with Franz Viegener S.A. (www.franzviegener.us), the top sanitary ware group in America with an annual turnover of USD 300M.

Mission of QC:

The QC team is actively involved in all quality activities related to the suppliers and export goods, ranging from supplier verification, quality inspection to the improvement of quality standard of the supplier.

Main Responsibilities:

- To be responsible for on-site inspection before export cargo delivery

- To report to Quality Manager the results of onsite inspection

- To transmit the quality targets and quality criteria to the suppliers and make sure of their respect

- To manage, challenge and help to improve the overall quality performance of suppliers by requesting corrective actions

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or above (Majored in Mechanical/Engineering/Material is preferred)

- Working experience in sanitary ware industry or in quality control sector is preferred

- Fluent English in written and good in speaking; Spanish speaking is a plus

- Team spirit, target orientated, self initiative, loyal to the company

- Willing to travel frequently
