Description

The Active Safety Feature Integration Engineer will an Integrator of Active Safety Features and single point contact for Active Safety performance issues.

Key responsibilities

Execute (Lead)
? Guide vehicle performance balance across Feature area to assure winning vehicles
? Develop assigned feature to meet validation objectives
? Act as single point Feature Integration accountability for assigned programs
? Releases on-time with quality – Tuning and calibrations on-time to support release date
? Issues resolved on-time
? Champion of all vehicle development issues associated with assigned Feature
Communicate
? Lead Active Safety Performance reviews at Milestones for assigned feature
? Status vehicle performance and support Vehicle Chief Engineer to achieve vehicle performance objectives at program milestones for assigned feature
? Participate in VPIT, VAPIR, Dev/Val meetings, PSR
? Bridge VPIT, Feature workgroups and PDTs to seamlessly integrate requirements

Administrate
? Lead Active Safety Feature Integration meeting as required
? Update development vehicles for feature as needed
? Coordinate LADV plans
? Identify resource requirements for programs
? Utilize standardized work and common processes

Qualifications

Required
? 4-5 years of experience in one of ADAS subsystem, like camera, radar and UPA
? Knowledge on CAN/GMLAN communication protocle
? Knowledge on ADAS features
? Knowledge on lower layer programming
? 3 Years of experience in Scripting by using Python, CAPL or C, JAVA, VBA
? BS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? High level of organizational skills
? Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
? Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
