Position Title : Senior Product Line Quality Manager, Asia Pacific
Department : Quality, AP
Directly Reports to: Quality Director, Asia Pacific
Region Covered : Asia Pacific
Position Purpose
? Implement global & AP Quality Strategy and ensure achievement of quality targets, improve process effectiveness and efficiency to meet customer expectation.
? Provide Business quality support for Product Line to improve organizational capability and align AP Quality practice with global Product Line Quality strategy.
Major Responsibility
? Develop and deploy AP quality strategic quality and decision-making at the top regional quality level, ensure quality organization’s strategy is aligned with global/regional strategies / goals and objectives
? Lead, direct, evaluate and develop quality structure to ensure that the organization’s quality strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines
? Standardize AP regional plants quality system/processes, drive on manufacturing system implementation and execution
? Managing and driving on AP PL plants manufacturing quality assurance and improvement, e.g. customer NCT/PPM, supplier PPM, FTQ, scrap, Warranty improvement
? Monitoring customer quality & warranty problem solving and concern management handling activity for AP plant strategic customers. Leading and driving major customer complaint closure
? Ensure permanent resolution of major production quality issues, provide quality support including but not limited on data analysis and technical review etc
? Direct APQP Management of new product advanced quality planning activities, provide support to plant quality team for flawless new launch to meet new launch quality AQP requirement.
? Direct AP SQA on supplier quality continuous improvements and engagement of supplier major issues resolving.
? Monitor AP plants to ensure Global PL quality strategies, actions, processes implementation.
? Coaching and developing quality expertise and skill set of the team members to ensure their success.

? Deep understanding of Quality management processes.
? Excellent Quality system TS16949 knowledge and experience
? Multinational company/ cultural working experience is an added advantage.
Skills
? Excellent leadership and regional management skills.
? Strong management skill with making tough decision capability
? Strong capability to driving and pushing cross functional team execution
? Strong visional long term strategic planning capability
? Good communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
? Strong problem solving competency and experience on six-sigma, Shainin etc.
? Willingness to work hard, take initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
? Flexible, able to cope with the change and comfortable to handle risks and uncertainties.
? Proactive, mature and result-oriented
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical or Engineering
Experience:
? Minimum 12-15 years working experience at manufacturing industry; 7-10 years automotive industry experience with quality, operation, PM, engineering related functional expertise.
? At least 5-8 years managerial OR regional management working experience on PM, Quality, Operation, Engineering, functions.
? Six-Sigma Green belt, Black Belt, and or master black belt desired
Language: Fluent oral and written English.
Computer: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
