PRIMARY FUNCTION
This is a high impact role that will be responsible for executing Target’s merchandising strategy in China. You will leverage your experience to help drive the assortment selection, pricing, promotions, and oversee campaigns executed by third parties. You will partner with Legal, Tax, Risk, Business Development, Merchandising, Marketplaces, Supply Chain, and Technology Services. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the China market, regulatory requirements, and be capable of wearing many hats.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-TP management, performance and compliance
*Assortment planning and analysis
*Pricing strategy and execution
*Product promotion planning and execution
*Day-to-Day operation work with TP, channel and HQ support team to select new product, price it, and buy it
*REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to General Manager - China, the role is based in Shanghai

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*6+ years of relevant business experience in China/Asia
*3+ years of e-Commerce experience
*Fluent in both English and Mandarin
*Outstanding written and verbal communication
*Up to 50% travel

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA or equivalent
Experience working for a US Retailer
