Data Science / Machine Learning(part-time)
数据处理/机器学习工程师

You are invited to apply your expertise in machine learning and programming skills to help us build and improve our web-based, financial technology research platform. Your machine learning background, knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning (classification, clustering) and applications of different methodologies (Naïve Bayes vs Random Forest) will be utilized for an exciting project to be showcased to our clients.

We are a fintech start-up performing research on the China financial markets. Our research covers China's capital markets, including A-shares, equities, and sector-specific industries, such as internet and automotive.

You'll be working in our office, located in central Shanghai, and working closely with the research team, on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:
岗位职责
1. Build models for a machine learning platform: classification, clustering, recommendation engines
          为机器学习平台建立模型：分类，收集，推荐引擎；
2. Participate in driving small- to medium-sized projects
          参与推动中小型项目；
3. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
          具备在快节奏及不断变化的环境中独立工作的能力。

Requirements:
要求
1. Thorough understanding of machine learning algorithms, such as Naïve Bayes, Random Forests
         完全理解机器学习算法，比如Naïve Bayes以及Random Forests；
2. Python (SKLearn / SciPy / Numpy / Pandas). Familiarity with R is a plus
          Python语言(SKLearn / SciPy / Numpy / Pandas)。 熟悉R语言将被优先考虑；
3. Experience working with unstructured data
          具备非结构化数据工作经验；
4. BS or higher in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, or quantitative field
          计算机科学、应用数学、统计学或定量领域理学士或以上学位；
5. Communication skills in English
          良好的英语沟通能力。

1. Strong SQL / NoSQL and database design skills
          强大的SQL/NoSQL和数据库设计能力；
2. Knowledge of NLP
          NLP知识；
3. AWS or cloud experience
          AWS或云知识；
