Summary:
The IHS Automotive Greater China Light Vehicle Production Forecast Service requires an individual to maintain and grow that forecast service. China developed itself to be the key production region in the global automotive market place. Therefore this service needs strong local analytics and representation.

General Job Duties:
Reporting to the Manager of Greater China Production Forecasting you will be responsible for the Greater China Production Forecast Service. You will help to obtain future product actions, build and maintain customer relationships while coordinating forecast actions and sourcing trends with the other forecast colleagues around the world.

Specific Job Duties:
- Contribute to the maintenance, production and constant enhancement of the IHS Light Vehicle Production Forecast for China and Taiwan
- Coordinate with global colleagues to integrate global production actions and sourcing patterns/trends
- Build and deliver presentations both domestically and to international audiences concerning the Indian/Australian vehicle
production market

Required Education:
The minimum requirement is a university undergraduate degree in business, economics or a form of mechanical/electrical
engineering. Business and economics would be preferable.

Required Experience:
A successful candidate would usually have more than 5 years experience executing market research activities for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive component supplier. Other areas of experience could be in direct vehicle production forecasting activities for an automotive forecast/analysis firm or a consulting company focused on the automotive vertical. Another area could be a candidate which has direct automotive component purchasing experience with a vehicle manufacturer.
