Position: Test Software Engineer
Team: Software, Automotive.
Education:
BSEE/BSCS required
Job Description:
Including, not limited to:
- Starting at program award; utilize, (co)generate and update test software requirement, test software design specification, related validation documents and test software user manual, failure modes and effects analysis, conduct system simulation(s) plus use other tools as necessary.
- Validation hardware and software systems development for testing of automotive electronic modules, hardware development includes creation and simulation of electrical inputs and outputs for electronic modules under test.
- Software development focuses on control/analysis/diagnostics of test equipment and electronic modules under test.
- Perform test software validation per validation plan and generates reports.
- Maintain intimate working knowledge of program master timeline and its relation to engineering deliverables.
Qualification:
- 2+ years of test software development and fixture design experience in automotive electronics area.
- Experience with a software language (C, C++, or Visual Basic)
- Familiar with road vehicles diagnostic protocol such as KWP 2000, ISO 14229, 15765, ISO 15031, etc. and experienced in diagnostic test software development
Upon these communication interfaces by using design tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.
- Knowledge of Vector VT system, LabVIEW is preferred.
- Customer orientation, teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Working technical English reading/writing and verbal communication skills are required.
