I.  Essential Functions: 

  

To Support Project Managers with management of projects predominantly with the set-up and use of JDE and associated billing and financial reporting. Further reaching areas of focus will include documentation generation in support of batch records pack design and ordering of components as required for packaging activities.

  

In addition; May manage small, simple projects which generally require a small amount of client interaction.

  

Projects will reside within a single business line and reside within a single site, may cross to sister sites for packaging, distribution or testing activities.

  

May have responsibilities for supporting the training and mentoring of other Project Coordinators within the team in particular with focus on financial and billing matters.

  

To promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job:  Coordination with finance, sales, operations, client services, and quality to ensure the highest level of client service.

  

 

  

II.  Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:

  

1. Will become proficient with JD Edwards and be considered the team Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PM billing and reporting.

  

2. Will monitor billing and financial adherence in JDE and report to Manager and Director (on adherence).

  

3. Will support the training and mentoring of the team in good practice methodologies for JDE and all financial reporting matters.

  

4. Will help the PM team resolve study invoice issues, raising credit/rebill applications as required.

  

5. Will assist the PM team resolve queries in relation to item number creation and set up

  

6. May manage small, simple projects that generally require minimal client interaction.  This would include:

  

?  Will act as single point of contact for the client and facilitate responses to Customer questions and observations.

  

?  Will be the Client Advocate for work on their site.

  

?  Preparation and management of a Project Plan to meet required milestones.

  

?  Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project completion.

  

?  Deliver the project within agreed upon timeline and budget.

  

 

  

III.  Position Requirements:

  

Education or Equivalent: 

  

Science Degree and/or apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.

  

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

  

Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Biotech and/or financial industries is desired.

  

Working knowledge of Project Management is desired.

  

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

  

Detail oriented.

  

Proficiency with MS Office Programs including MS Project.

  

Ability to lead a small project team.
