Position Title: Asia Purchase Order (PO) Coordinator (Temporary)
Location: FFR Inc. Shanghai office
We are looking for a Temporary helper for about 6~8 months urgently. We offer competitive remuneration package as well as bonus when finishing the full contract period. Please send your resume and the expected salary to gchu@ffr.com.
Position Qualifications:
- Associate or degree holder in English, or Business Administration, or international trade, or purchasing and supply chain management or relative disciplines
- PC literate in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, outlook).
- Fluent in English and Chinese language. The candidate should pass the 6th grade of CET or have the equal level
- Relevant experience is a plus in POP industrial, Purchasing, international trade and logistic.
- Good project management and time management skills.
- Knowledge of business systems (MRP, ERP, Min/Max planning).
- Fresh graduated students will be also considered. Comprehensive on-job training will be provided for candidate with good potential.
Key Duties:
- Send PO’s to suppliers in Asia and obtain production/ ship schedule that meets FFR requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers the lead time, destination, packing/label information and other necessary information for suppliers from US headquarters.
- Monitor production schedule to ensure timely delivery and notify buyer of any adjustments.
- Manage the appropriate shipping documents and send to the US in a timely manner.
- Prepare payment request for Asian suppliers and track until wire transfer is complete.
- Expedite short shipments.
- Work with sourcing agents to troubleshoot problems with production. (e.g. MOQ issue, new item sample approval; defective PO claiming).
- Work with Quality Assurance to coordinate inspection, monitor quality issues that affect production and claim expenses for defective product and other charges.
- Monitor shipment arrangement
- Manage supplier shipment consolidation in order to minimize freight expenses and confirm the actual expenses associated with this process
- Other duties as assigned.
