Main Responsibilities:
? Work with OEMs to define and develop acoustical/thermal/aerodynamic components and systems at concept stage to influence customer specifications and gain acceptance of company products.
? Actively participate in Customer and Autoneum Product Development Teams by clearly communicating market trends, future product needs, competitive threats / developments and all component, system or program issues.
? Lead pre-development activities to define system, subsystem, and / or component functional requirements for company products in advance of program sourcing activities.
? Lead the pre-quote selection of effective noise control technologies that are consistent with product development and specific program objectives.
? Manage, plan, conduct testing, simulation, benchmarking projects and validation activities at Autoneum and/or customer laboratories.
? Recommend, validate and implement continuous product improvement measures to reduce product cost in consistence with product requirements.
? Integrate superior acoustical performance into company products.
? Providing strategic direction for all assigned product development efforts
? Support program build events and launches to ensure parts meet functional requirements.
? Conduct vehicle benchmarking to identify new technology and trend in noise control treatment.
? Develop and deliver effective customer and internal technical presentations as required.

Main Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in NVH/acoustics/noise control related fields, including:
o Technical sales experience in acoustics/NVH products, or
o Measuring and analyzing vehicle/materials acoustics/NVH behavior,
o Constructing or managing NVH computer aided simulations using FEA and SEA techniques
o Defining and evaluating noise/vibration control measures
o Comparing / Specifying passive automotive acoustical treatments (i.e. isolating, damping, insulating and absorbing products)
o Working with design/development teams to achieve cross functional objectives
Excellent people skills required, ability to work with customers
Excellent communication and presentation skills required, proficient in technical writing
Must be able to reason and solve problems based on technical understanding of needs and procedures
Must be proficient in PC and office productivity softwares (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, etc.), experience with Statistical Energy Analysis and other acoustical simulation/data acquisition softwares preferred.
Must be highly organized

Autoneum (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.supports the businesses of other plants in Asia in sales, technology, purchasing, finance and so on. Autoneum (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. was founded in 2007 and is located in the west north of Shanghai. It has a Development Center and an Acoustic Lab, so can offer service for the project development for the customers in China and other areas of Asia. At moment, Autoneum have three wholly owned plants in Chongqing, Taicang and Shenyang, as well as two JVs in Guangzhou and Tianjin.
