Job Description:
？ Report Line: Purchasing Manager
？ Responsibilities:
○ Planning, preparation, execution and follow-up of potential analyses to evaluate new suppliers, plants and technologies;
○ Managing APQP - process (fixing dates according to the project plan with suppliers, request status of APQP phases an evaluate the results with the project teams, perform Run @ Rate);
○ Conduct supplier evaluation and classification regularly, initiate improvement / action programs and monitor the realization;
○ Planning and conducting of process audits according to VDA 6.3 at the suppliers, incl. monitoring of the measures realization;
○ Problem solving immediately and sustainable at escalation case (series production phase);
○ Identify cost saving potentials during series production phase (make benchmark analysis, identify ratio potential, initiate P0 projects);
○ Transfer of knowledge from projects and series in the GRAMMER Organization (lessons learned cards);
○ Carry out regular exchanges and professional training of SQA-employees in the plants;
○ Create and roll-out of procedures and tools for the department supplier development;
○ Make proposals for the Supplier Development strategy;
○ Claim management;
○ Personal responsibility for technical support of suppliers to help subcontractors;
○ Team Management;

Job Specification / required skills:
？ Bachelor degree in Mechanics;
？ Minimum 10 years working experience on supplier development or quality assurance in automotive interior or exterior company;
？ Certified Process-Auditor according to VDA6.3;
？ Detailed knowledge of ISO/TS16949 and ISO 9001;
？ Comprehensive understanding of production and business processes, as well as specific knowledge of at least one commodity (plastics, castings, steel, mechanics, coverings, chemicals, foam);
？ Experience of APQP-/Initial Sampling process, Run @ Rates and the preparation and / or review of quality assurance agreements;
？ Have down pat of problem solving tools (PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa ...);
？ Basic knowledge of GRAMMER-GPQ-/PDS-processes;
？ Mastery of the standard Microsoft Office programs and good knowledge of SAP (MM / QM);
？ Knowledge of product liability and contract law;
？ Be sure to conduct supplier conversations;
？ Experience in conducting trainings;
？ Fluent in written and spoken English;
？ Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution skills, strong cost consciousness;
？ Flexible for a high level of national and international business trips;
