Position Title: Hotel Account Manager
Department: Hotel Solutions
Location: Shanghai, China

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Support to Hotel Partners:
a. First level contact with existing hotel partners:
a) Support of hotel partners in general questions, i.e. system related enquiries via telephone, fax and email
b) telephone, training

b. Hotel contents optimization and quality check regularly both in English and native language, number of photos, hotel review, etc
c. Support Hotel partners by updating the information via HMD, i.e. rate loading, price change via HSA3, pictures uploading, etc
d. Entry of all activities / changes (rates and information) into the internal memo in the Hotel Master Data
 
- Reporting and Administration:
a. Consolidate “Hot Recommendation Hotels” & promotion hotel list for HOHC’s approval
b. Update monthly “New Opening + New Online” hotel list and circulate to related Dept.
c. Internal office supplier
d. Support in organization of trade show and trade events

- Internal customer support
Assist FIT quality Mgr. and hotel partner in case of any No-go, customer complaints and claim


QUALIFICATIONS:
- College or university degree or above
- Skilled at clearly conveying information through telephone and WebEx
- Communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the hotel partners
- Proficient English in writing and speaking
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques
- Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g. word, excl, internet browsers, etc.)
- 3+ years in sales & marketing, preferably with experience in hospitality industry
- Experience with MNCs in China and Asia Pacific region
