Position Title: Key Account Manager / 大客户销售经理
Department: Corporate Solutions
Location: Shanghai, China
Reports to: Head of Central China, Corporate Solution
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Reports to the Director/Head of Sales & Account Management internationally or to the Head of Key Account Management in the headquarter
? Manages and leads negotiations with major local (A) accounts with potential larger than EUR 1 million, finds new ways to support customers' travel processes and increase share of wallet
? Owns and develops the associated Account Development Plans, ensuring maximum HRS buy-in across regions and senior management
? Acquires new major local (A) accounts based on leads (typically provided by central steering) and ensures new customers go live and begin booking (responsible from lead to implementation)
? Helps to roll out international customers in his/her country and assumes role of key contact for international accounts from other countries
? Identifies additional local leads and evaluates them together with central steering
? Works together with Account Support Management to provide support to his/her customers, is the key contact for customers and fully responsible for them
? Has a good knowledge of the business travel industry (its players, their business strategies, business models & USPs, incentive flows). Is a good problem solver and able to discuss matters with senior employees of customers at eye level. Can build long lasting relationships with key decision makers.
? Maintains a high level of current knowledge of the product portfolio and the benefits for customers as well as of other relevant information (e.g., trends, strategy, competitors, pricing)
? Demonstrates good project management skills, as he/she needs to coordinate not only stakeholders across different countries, but also HRS experts on topics such as payment, sourcing or MICE solutions
? Leverages local partnerships teams to remove TMC resistance
Qualifications:
? University degree above
? Good command of English in both written and verbal
? HIGH technical skills: knowledge of the HRS products, B2B travel industry and comp set, able to explain USPs of HRS
? HIGH analytical competence: finds useful facts, able to analyze complex data and ? ? HIGH goal orientation and decision-making competence: finds new/best-possible solutions, keeps economic impact in mind, shows good argumentation in negotiations and competence in advanced presenting techniques
? HIGH motivation and ability to cope with pressure: shows high level of self-motivation, keeps performing when working under pressure
? HIGH emotional empathy: actively listens and uses question techniques, recognizes needs of conversation partners and adapts his communication, is experienced in working in an international environment and with virtual teams
? HIGH competence in relationship management: esp. sales and acquisition; initiates positive contact, acts convincingly (e.g., in negotiations), shows good communication skills, behaves professionally, uses consultative selling techniques to close on.
