Key Responsibilites:
- In concert with HQ marketing initiatives, manages Marketing and communications initiatives in-region and local market related to Digital Marketing, PR and Sales Support
- Ensures execution of marketing programs for a region and manages budgets related to it – driving annual planning of Marketing & Sales activities with specific outcomes and goals
- Establishes regional / local channels and strategies to most effectively reach customers and key constituents including digital advertising, email marketing, events, social networking and content marketing
- Proactively works with other departments in-region to develop a common approach to strategic objectives and to share best practices
- Develops rapport with corporate marketing as a valuable extension of the global marketing team – stepping up to lead global initiatives as requested and volunteering insights from own region to develop best practices for marketing as a whole
- Measures marketing program effectiveness and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in strategy and tactics
- Builds the HRS brand into a powerhouse – recognizable by employees, travel managers, gov’t and SMB procurement, indirect partners, and TMCs
Requirments:
- 5+ years proven working experience as B2B Marketing & Communications expert in corporate travel industry
- Industry: knowledge of corporate travel ecosystem and how HRS fits within it, B2B travel industry (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, TMCs/OBEs, GDS) and competitive analysis
- Knows local and international market needs and how to address them
- Digitally savvy: can work within digital, social, traditional channels for best effect
- Excellent communicator: writes what others need to say in a voice that is authentic to the HRS brand and the individual market.
- High goal orientation and decision-making competence: finds new/best-possible solutions, keeps economic impact in mind, shows good argumentation in negotiations with marketing partners and vendors
- Strong motivation and ability to cope with pressure: shows high level of self-motivation, keeps performing when working under pressure
- Excellent presentation and event organizer
- Good analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Good organizational and management skills and experience of managing multiple projects in the same timeframe
- Fluent in (local language) & English
