European UK fashion retail-brand is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser. The candidate will be located at Shanghai office. The main responsibility will be garment-orders follow up and samples tracking and other administrative duties.


Job Descriptions:
1. Attend buying meetings then follow up orders with suppliers, customers, and internal parties to ensure customers satisfaction and on-time delivery
 Attend buying meetings, Review purchase orders
 Monitor and check production status daily and track progress closely to ensure delivery on time

2. Arrange samples submission to customers for approval
 Check and inspect samples then send samples to customers
 Communicate with customers to get approval comments then ensure suppliers to proceed correctly accordingly

3. Perform other duties as assigned by management, character must be honest and proactive with team work spirit, also aim to be merchandiser to follow-up orders independently in future

Job Requirements:
1. Education Level: University or College degree
2. Years of Experience: 1 to 2 years experiences in buying/trading office on products of woven garments of swimwear, fashion dress/tops, outerwear etc. Strong knowledge on follow up the procedures and production progress from buying till shipments delivery.
3. Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English
4. Computer Skills: Able to use Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc) professionally.
