Responsibilities:
The responsibilities are those of a regular teacher! You will be responsible for the following:
- Developing lesson plans and instructional materials and providing individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
- Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports.
- Communicating with parents through conferences and other means when necessary.
- Collaborating with the appropriate administrator and peer teachers.
- Participating in curriculum development and teacher training sessions.
- Classroom management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields.
- Two years of teaching experience
- Flexibility and open-mindedness to a new culture
- International experience
- Sense of responsibility.
- Organizational skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Additional qualities:
- Master’s degree
- Experience working in a K-12 school overseas
