Our client is a leading lingerie and swimwear Manufacturer with over 4000 employees and production in China and Vietnam. They have a worldwide customer base including high fashion brands, department stores and specialty stores. They now seek a highly experienced Technical Manager to join their Shunde Office in China.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Problem solving and providing technical advice on product to support all technical aspects for design, merchandising, sample room and production dept.
-Overseeing fittings and product developments
-Manage the production of technical specification package to communicate requirements for fit and construction from concept through to bulk production.
-Ensure that products are developed consistent with the established fit and quality standards, manufacturer’s capabilities and cost specifications.
-Maintain a technical education of latest techniques and methods available to the clothing industry
-Improve the material consumption, simplify the sewing operation and reduce SMV
-Station in Shunde, China

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
-University degree or equivalent preferred
-Minimum 10 years related experience of technical in swimwear or lingerie field with at least 7 years in managerial level
-Knowledge in pattern making, fit, garment construction & manufacturing process in both knit & woven
-Experiences in sample evaluation, live model and mannequin fit evaluation
-Good aesthetic and commercial sense in making commercial judgment
-Effective communication, interpersonal skills and team player
-Proactive problem solving and attention to details
-Computer knowledge in MS office/Excel/PLM
