Our client is one of the leading Hong Kong based Apparel Manufacturers, with over 10 million garments production a year. They are a trusted partner for global well-known brands including Nordstrom, Giordano and Uniqlo.
Due to their expansion plan, they are seeking various Merchandisers/Senior Merchandisers to join their newly established Shenzhen Sourcing Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage the production critical path between factories, Hong Kong Office and customers.
-Ensure all documentation is regularly updated from pre-production through to shipment.
-Review and improve performance of product, quality and delivery standards KPI’s.
-Work closely with the factory production team to ensure on time deliveries, which meet quality standards
-Assist the Merchandising Manager and report if any risks to the critical path.
-Provide Managers product-costing details to improve margins.
-Identifying and assessing supplier and sourcing risks.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
-University degree in relevant discipline preferred
-Min 5 years merchandising experience, sound experience in woven product (top/bottom/outerwear), US or Japan market is essential
-Previous experience in Multinational Sourcing Office environment is essential
-Good product & technical knowledge
-Excellent communication skills, negotiation & influencing Skills
-Good command of spoken & written English/Chinese, Japanese language skills is essential
