Manage the subordinate to carry out port inspection activities in consistent with Standard Operation Procedure and company's policies.
Lead the port operation to achieve the set objectives and KPI.
Assist in the realization of re-enforcing training and multi-skill training to ensure port inspectors can be continually refreshed, competent for the assigned jobs and to keep high productivity and reasonable utilization rate of the port.
Perform on-site surveillance to ensure inspection is done to fulfill or even exceed client's requirements.
Review and appraise the performance of port subordinate.
Approve the local expense of port inspectors.
Review and control port cost
Hold regular port meeting for better communication, understanding, alignment and improvement.
Assist Area Manager to establish port culture based on company's mission, commitment and policies.
With the assistance of technical department, handle special queries and complaints from clients or other parties. .
Co-ordinate internal and external QMS audit in the port.
Follow up the corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner.
Report port operation situation to Area manager periodically.
Monitor and review the job schedule situation to ensure manpower are adequate for business operation and improvement.
Implement and operate the alignment among different business lines in port.
Maintain port traveling table for internal and external use.
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to keep smooth port operation and make continual improvement.
Perform any job-related assignment as required.
