SUMMARY: Responsible for but not limited to, to initiate new product for ferrite cores and its associate materials. This position shall design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of new product, and responsible to determine the final product specifications and cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Design new product and its specification on ferrite cores
* Create product prints and its packaging design
* Identify the materials needed to develop high performance products
? Qualify the raw materials associated with the products
? Determine Part Number, BOM and Route for new product
? Manage prints in the database
? Responsible on answering and feedback all customer enquiries within allowable time
? Participate in cost reduction and cost of quality programs when required
? Assist Manufacturing Engineering and Production with prototyping of new or modified products
? Conduct process capability studies, design experiments, conduct studies and analyze to ensure products meet design requirements.
? Create APQP documents

REQUIREMENTS:
? Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE and relational database.
? Excellent communication skills, can read and speak English
? Ability to work well in a Team environment
? Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
? Ability to work under direct supervision
? Ability to work with clearly defined project steps
? Possess some limited knowledge of new product development processes and work flow
? Possess a working knowledge of powder processing technology
? Experience in participating on multi-disciplinary product development teams
? Basic knowledge of trouble shooting methodologies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
? Engineering degree in Materials Science,, Inorganic Materials Science or chemical or Powder Metallurgy background is preferred
? Minimum 5 years of experience of related experience, preferable in ceramic powder processing field. Candidate with ferrite working experience will be an advantage.
