Job Title: Sourcing & QA Officer/ Coordinator (Project)
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Report to: Quality Manager, functionally report to Global Sourcing Director
Purpose of Role: Source raw material used in driftwood product. Identify the quality standard with the supplier till the final QC.

Responsibilities - general
1. Identify, source and develop qualified suppliers for assigned commodities
2. Develop and maintain solid and reliable relationships with suppliers to meet required standards
3. Lead and manage commodity projects through the sourcing process and coordinate with multi-functional teams to reach sourcing and QA targets
4. Ensure supplier can meet our quality standard and get involved with any related supplier issues like shortage or quality.
5. Report the sourcing and QA status/ progress

Responsibilities – specific to
1. Participate in PD process to spell out the quality standard for the use of community in sourcing and quality inspection team.
2. Sourcing component, raw material etc. per the requirement from BU/PD
3. Negotiate with suppliers on competitive price
4. Ensure the supplier can meet the capacity, quality, compliance, health & safety requirement.

Key Performance Areas
Competencies/Skills required
1. Good written and oral communication skills – in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
2. Have good knowledge on sourcing& supplier base in China especially in Guangdong province.
3. Good knowledge of supplier quality management processes & tools and cost analysis
4. Excellent coordination, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills
5. Self-motivated, well organized, observant, attention to details and customer focus
6. Able to work both independently and in teams and under pressure with tight schedule
7. Willing to travel

Education/Experience
1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, Quality Assurance or relative disciplines
2. At least 6 years of working experience in sourcing or quality assurance areas
