Our Client is a successful Lingerie specialist, designing, manufacturing and distributing their own brands and are suppliers to retailers/other brands Globally. Due to their growth, they now seek an experienced Compliance Manager to join their China team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Direct reporting to China Production GM
- Standardize audit rating system and internal compliance guidelines
- Ensure policies, regulations and behaviors of management and employees in multiple China factories meet Company Code of Conduct
- Identify potential areas of compliance risk; develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
- Oversee the operation of compliance program; develop and periodically review the compliance status according to Company Code of Conduct
- Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, keep the Corporate Compliance Director and Senior Management Team informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts
- Maintain an effective compliance communication program for company’s multiple China factories, including the promotion of compliance projects to heighten the awareness of Company Code of Conduct and the understanding of compliance issues and related policies and procedures
- Work with Company Overseas Compliance Department and other appropriate departments to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers
- As a direct channel of communication with international customer base, receive and react to all compliance issues from clients and manage with the China factories for investigation and resolution providing quick responses to critical compliance issues
- Develop monitoring tools and provide continuous monitoring on the Company’s multiple China factories, take appropriate steps to improve effectiveness and deliver CAP
- Manage ad-hoc projects when Senior Management team requested

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

- This role is stationed in He Yuan, Guangdong
- Some travelling to Dongguan and other china regions is required
- University graduate or above
- Min 10 years solid experiences in compliance and garment manufacturing field with at least 5 years at managerial level
- Good knowledge in HRA, ISO9001, SA8000, operational, financial, security, safety, quality assurance, internal controls, laws and regulations
- Hands-on experience with US & EU buyers is a must
- Able to work independently
- Mature, strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to interact with all levels
- Fluent in written and verbal English and Mandarin.
- Willing to travel
- Previous experience with handling international customers such as Target USA, M&S, H&M, Wal Mart, George, Tesco, etc.
- 5 day working week
