JOB TITLE: Production Manger

REPORTS TO: Site Manager

BUSINESS: AdMat

LOCATION: Panyu, China



1. PURPOSE:
Panyu production site is one of the strategic manufacturing site in China for APAC business. Production manager is needed to provide overview on production strategies and operation directions to the production team in order to fulfill customer demands.


2. DIMENSIONS:
Direct manager 6, and over 100 staff.
Cost of production of USD 2 -3 mios
Production volume of over 40000 MT products


3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
? Ensure Safety, Quality and Productivities reach company requirements
? Lead and motivate the Operations team in achieving plant deliverables.
? Continue to develop a principled and competent Operations workforce to run the plant safely and achieving operating KPIs (Cost, Quality, Yield, Asset Availability, Safety, Compliance, etc)
? Execute Compliance and EHS plans, and accountable for performances of Operations workforce
? Implement and continuously improve Operations Excellence system.
? Direct and Control all Operations expenses to meet the plant cost
? Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Technical, and Business Support to ensure plant delivers its overall goals
? Other duties as assigned by the senior Manager.

4. SPECIAL FEATURES/ REQUIREMENTS

? Good command of Mandarin/Basic English proficiency
? Computer skill – Microsoft office software, skill with SAP is preferred

3) Knowledge
? Chemistry, polymer or chemical engineering background, bachelor or above.
? Min 5 years relevant hands-on Operations/manufacturing experience.
? Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management system
? Project /Chemical experience will be an advantage



5. Quality Responsibility

? Organize quality training and skills development within team.
? Overall responsibility for quality performance for production Building
? Approve quality document such as BVO and batch sheet before actual use.
? Ensure the data setting( BOM & Routing) in SAP system correctly
? Ensure that all documentation available prior to new product.
? Ensure quality delivery meets company’s quality target.
? Ensure quality system ISO 9001 implementation in Production, and TS16949 standard to automotive application products.



6. EHS Responsibility
? Organize training for safety, health, environment rule & requirement, ensure activities in production meet Hunstman’s EHS standard and Local government & Legal ‘s authority and requirement.
? Ensure activities in production under a safe, healthy, and environment protective manner.
? Be responsible for ISO 14001 implementation in production, and the performance in compliance with company requirement.
