职位描述
Title: Product Development Executive
Report to: Product Development Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting PD manager
2. Execute 2012/ 2013 general objectives - values, concepts, teamworking, focus, support
3. Operate according to Product Creation process
4. Project management and 1st contact of sampling for specific customer/ product category/ factory
5. Responsible from Design/ SRF right through to PPM (product and documentation sign off) and sample delivery with the support from PD Manager, Leader, Design, Sourcing, Costing, Engineering, CAD, Photos, Adm, Logistics
6. Match customer demand vs supplier capacity for the responsible category
7. Deliver a high quality sample against specs, on time, at the lowest cost, alleviating all constraints, that is safe and can be manufactured smoothly by the factory
8. Supply product documentation including technical specs, swatches, photos all product info to furnish GPDB (Description, Size, Weights, CBM) Codes by Master Data, Costs by Costing
9. Manager sampling sequence for the responsible product category
10. Attending and participating in training where necessary to improve project management, technical, English, communication... capabilities led by PM and Engineering Manager
11. KPI/ Reporting contribution
12. PLT update
13. Product against specs deviation
14. Sampling scale
15. Sampling LT
16. Sampling completion on time
17. Product documentation - By PPM specs framework ready, 1wk after PPM all Specs, CAD, AI, PI completed
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years product experience in Wooden Furniture/ Upholstery Furniture in Leader & Fabrics/ Bags/ Lighting
2. Experience in monitoring factories from product brief right through to shipment
3. Experience in dealing with both customers and suppliers
4. Experience in handling US & EEC markets
5. Fluent English and Mandarin
6. Graduate in business or other relevant disciplines
7. Good leadership and management skill
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to priorities tasks effectively
9. Be customer focus while balancing the capabilities of the business and suppliers
10. Be thorough and meticulous with an extreme attention to detail
Be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done
