The Role:

The Sr. SDT EE Engineer is responsible for supporting NPI component qualification and sustaining supplier quality and crisis management for EE components in South China.

Position requires that candidate locates in Shenzhen but can travel to other supplier location areas.

• On-site lead failure analysis for electronics /optics /acoustics component (PCB, switch, cable, lens and speaker) defects with corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Take the ownership to handle components failures analysis and material disposal from Logitech IQC, production floor, OOB and field return.
• Perform process audit and system audit to prevent potential risk items for South China suppliers.
• Continuous improvement plan implementation in supplier side.
• Perform FMEA, PMP review with supplier and apply SPC, MSA, Kappa tools for quality control.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Quality engineering, supplier quality engineering background is preferred.

• Professional capability of physical analysis such as decap, signal analysis, impedance test related and etc. Skilled at using the following analysis tools such as oscilloscope/multi-meter/TDR analyzer /MTF tester is necessary.

• Good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices.

• Flexible and can work under pressure.
• Willing to travel on business purpose and job assignment

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• 5~10 years of engineering or quality experience of electronics components;

• Proved capability to analyze and solve product problem with limited support from cross-functional team

Education:

• Bachelor degree above in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Application Materials and etc.
• Good command in oral, written and reading English
