This is a rare opportunity to join an exciting fast fashion online retailer launching in the China market, working on developing the range from scratch. Our client is seeking a high caliber footwear and accessories merchandiser to join their new Shenzhen office.

- To manage all merchandising responsibilities for the footwear and accessories department.

- To work directly with factories to ensure critical path management and on time shipments

- To monitor all sample development and meet sample deadlines for sign off meetings

- To coordinate closely with footwear and accessories buyer (in Shenzhen)

- To proactively source and suggest new factories

- To assist buyer with product development

- To negotiate best price and delivery for the business

- To manage footwear and accessories vendor base and ensure all company policies and standards are adhered to

- To work with in-house departments such as technical, buying, design and shipping

- Responsible for filling up all documents of Merchandising team including soft and hard copies

- Co-ordinate sampling and production to ensure they are on track of T&A

- Excellent Time Negotiator

- Responsible for the drafting and detail checking for instruction

- Regular meeting with suppliers required

- Experience in working directly with buyers

- Co-operate with Design section in Product Development and providing information about yarn, accessories, and production situation

- Share the feedback of the market situation with Design section

- Previous experience in working in a fast pace environment and specialist knowledge of footwear / accessories are essential?
