This is a rare opportunity to join an exciting fast fashion online retailer launching in the China market, working on the range from scratch. Our client is seeking a high caliber footwear & accessories technician to join their new Shenzhen office.
- Responsible for all technical and QA aspects of the footwear and accessories range
- To ensure excellent fitting at Sample Development stage and in production
- To provide detailed technical specifications for all product categories
- To educate supplier base and up skill on technical requirements with frequent visit
- To provide fit and quality comments against product technical specifications at all stages of sample development
- To ensure all footwear and accessories product meet legal requirements
- To manage all lab testing and approve for production
- To carry out risk assessments in both sample and production stage and highlight any issues to commercial managers
- To attend preproduction meeting
- At least 4 years previous experience on Footwear and preferably with additional accessories experience
- Excellent knowledge of footwear manufacturing
- Can work as part of the team
