Responsibilities :
1) Lead a merchandising team to ensure all orders are properly followed through from sampling to production and final delivery with customer's satisfaction;
2) Continuously explore new suppliers and factories, ensure adequate quotations are obtained;
3) Product development, proactive offer new items to Sales Manager, and liaise with Sales Manager for any order enquires from customers;
4) Coach and develop a strong team to achieve sales target and profit margin;
5) Manage day to day merchandising process, troubleshoot, provide solution to tackle any production issues and cost control;
6) Track order status to ensure on time delivery;
7) Coordinate with quality control team to ensure product quality meet with customer's standard.
Requirements :
1) High Diploma or Degree Holder in merchandising, fashion or textile or related discipline is preferred;2) Minimum 10 years relevant experience in garment trading business;
3) Experience of working with social compliance factories is an added advantage;
4) Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process;
5) Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detailed minded;
6) Ability to build strong relationships with the team as good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties;
7) Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines;
8) Good command of written and spoken English.
