Job Description:
Supplier Management:
- Know perfectly of the factory portfolio, in terms of capability, quality level, know-how and type of products.
- Guide and help new factories and new suppliers on packaging instructions.
Production Management
- Follow up the orders based on the key deadlines, to drive the weekly priorities.
- Know-how to work perfectly in an efficiency way, being pro-active to anticipate any potential issue concerning with the production.
- Educate and guide the suppliers to respect the production schedule and meet deadlines.
- In charge for the production follow up, from A to Z, ensuring about the on time deliveries.
Quality control:
- Ensure inspection bookings are arranged efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and in the most cost efficient manner.
- Collect and distribute inspection documents required for the QC team prior to inspections.
- Manage receipt of Inspection reports, releasing the DRN (delivery release note) when required.
- Prepare Inspection Summary and Weekly inspection activities for management review.
- Assist the Platform Manager to check Quality inspector / product technologist expenses claims sheets.
- Arrange booking for 3rd Party inspection companies on approval of Quality Manager (if necessary).
- Communicate with QC Manager and QC team to ensure about the inspection schedule.
Logistic Management:
- Keep informed the Platform Manager with the potential late deliveries.
- Forecast the estimated shipment dates for the out-coming production schedule.
- Assist Platform Manager, when needed, with general administrative duties to support the production & quality team.
Data input / reporting:
- Update the Togo system on timely basis to ensure accurate data.
- Prepare Monthly management reports (1st time pass rate, Supplier performance data) in a timely manner.
- Provide reports and feedback about production follow up, to all involved parts.
- Provide weekly report to Platform Manager about delay, pending and coming orders.
Requirement:
- Higher Certificate or Diploma holder.
- 2-3 years’ experience in merchandising, QC Inspection booking or administrative role in an EU buying office environment or trading company would be beneficial.
- Experience in production merchandising is essential.
- Experience in QC Inspection management would be beneficial.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and complete tasks within a given timeframe.
- Good command of spoken and written English (CET 4 or above).
- Proficiency of MS office such as outlook, Word, Excel (a must) and Chinese word processing.
- Willing to travel.
