MERCHANDISER


Job Description:

? Overall responsibility in the fast growing accessories division (such as sports equipment, bags, souvenirs) for product development and setting standards for product quality
? Responsible for purchase of new products and ensuring delivery compliance by suppliers
? Handle all business relationships with vendors
? Control total sourcing functions covering costing, pricing & budgeting
? Schedules update and generating reports as and when required
? Explore markets to develop new materials, products and tap new sources
? Assist in ad hoc duties/projects


Job Requirements:

? Degree / Diploma in related field
? Minimum 3 years of experience as a merchandiser in a reputed company, particularly related to sports goods such as bags. Exposure to commercial functions will be an advantage.
? Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
? Able to perform under pressure
? Passionate, with lots of initiative and drive
? Willing to travel when required
? Effective communication skills with good command of English
